ACT OF KINDNESS

What if you became ill and the doctor said the only way to feel better is by making someone smile?  Would you do it?  Or would you tell the doctor they were crazy and leave probably feeling even sicker than before.  What if the next doctor you saw said the only way to return to good health is by doing a good deed?

Many people would suck their teeth and be on their way to the next doctor.  Just like our bodies can be sick, so can our planet.  Our world is currently suffering from a sickness of discouragement, greed, and corruption.  We usually see this sickness spew out through natural disasters, war, crime and famine.  We have learned to live with the sickness and adjust because in our hearts we believe it’s never going away.

But what if I told you that a cure was discovered to get rid of the sickness that plagues the earth?  Well ladies and gentlemen, that cure has been found!  This cure is called kindness.  This unlimited, free supply will leave you with a side effect of bringing happiness to the world and to you as well.

Our actions play a major role in determining the health of the planet.

A single act of kindness can cause ripple effects throughout the world.  We usually think that it only takes a major event to create the change we want.  If we believe that then we are discrediting the acts that lead up to the change.  A snow storm starts out with tiny snowflakes.  Rainstorms start by tiny raindrops.  One guy can stand his ground in Tienanmen Square.  A man can burn himself alive in Tunisia.  It takes one person to bring about change.  What if YOU were that person?  Perform acts of kindness and watch it create ripple effects of happiness throughout your family, friends, your community, and the world.  Your body will thank you for it!
